Hannah Greely is a multimedia artist who seeks to explore and expand upon the limits of sculpture. Greely creates a body of work that is often inherently tethered to the space by which it is occupied: often figurative, her sculptures become entry points into open dialogues with our environments. In her assimilations of the natural world into her work and vice versa, Greely invites her audience to ponder the wilting boundaries between art and life. Greely earned her BA from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2002, and her MFA from the University of California, Riverside in 2016. Recent exhibitions include a program at Frieze Los Angeles (2019); Pictionary Individual (2019, Harkawik, Los Angeles); and Hannah Greely / Calvin Marcus (2018, /, San Francisco).
